Labia Minora Piercings
They healed in about two weeks, didn't really give me any pain. They 'stung' when fresh, and seemed to get rubbed the wrong way if I didn't wear underwear, and then, poof, no problem ever again. After moving up to San Francisco, I began attending Fakir's Piercing School Workshops as a piercee. Yes, you have to be a bit brave to get pierced by a student. That's why I usually got pierced during the teaching days, when the teachers or advanced students do demos for the students. I got a second set of rings, and then a third. |

I got my first genital piercings, my first set of inner labia rings on the Saturday before the big Bill Graham memorial in Golden Gate Park. I was set to meet with friends in the South Bay, and went on up to SF from Santa Cruz for the day, before returning to Mountainview for the eve. I guess I had actually been thinking about it for quite a while, and rather intensely once I realized I had really gotten my mind set on doing this 'by myself', without friends around me like previous body piercings.
Later I stretched the second and third sets of rings and now I wear one pair each of 14g, 12g and 10g rings. As you can see in the second picture, I can just get my fingertips into the 1/2" stainless steel rings. You can see the increasing thickness of the rings and how the lip tissue has thickened along the edges where the rings pierce through.
